We live not far from Waikerie on 7 hectares of orange grove.
Waikerie is situated 170 km northeast from Adelaide in
South Australia on the River Murray. The regions sustenance
is primarily horticultural production. We produce approximately
250 tons of citrus a year. We pick about half of this fruit
ourselves and get pickers in for the other half. My wife is
manager of the nursing home in Waikerie. My daughter Kate
has graduated from uni with a degree in Applied
Science (Biodiversity, Environmental and Park Management).
